“THERE IS A BLAZE OF LIGHT IN EVERY WORD”

Please register for only one Silent Retreat, Ames or Des Moines.

Join us for a quiet morning of prayer and reflection on the first Saturday of Advent preparing yourself to more fully enter into the spirit of Christmas.

Using the words of Leonard Cohen from his song, Hallelejah, this retreat will begin and end with Centering Prayer. The rest of the morning will include the opportunity to learn more about the contemplative prayer practice of Lectio Divina. The morning will provide time for silent contemplation. Come join us for a morning of preparation for the true meaning of Christmas.

Registration begins at 8:30 with coffee and snacks, prayer is 9 am to noon.
