You are invited to join in a monthly study of the book Discernment Matters: Listening with the Ear of the Heart by Mary Margaret (Meg) Funk, OSB.This is an opportunity for those who want to learn and practice discernment as taught by the early monastic tradition. Together we'll learn about discernment as a spiritual practice that gives us a foundation for making decisions grounded in sacred wisdom and prayer; the difference between discernment and decision-making; and the consideration of important tools of discernment essential for making decisions today.

We will meet from 10 - 11AM on the third Saturday of the month beginning January 23 and going through June at St. Timothy's Episcopal Church at 24th and Ashworth in West Des Moines.
