A virtual group meeting through Zoom
The twelve steps of Alcoholics Anonymous have offered a path of recovery and healing to alcoholics for almost a century. The transformative power of the steps is not just for Alcoholics; they are a spiritual framework that has helped millions to healthier lives.
Richard Rohr and Thomas Keating are among contemporary teachers who have lifted the wisdom of the twelve steps as integral to contemplative spirituality.
If you are on a conscious spiritual path, want to deepen your spiritual awareness, widen your field of practice, or learn in the excellent company of other seekers, please join us for this twelve-week experience addressing the process and the practice of the twelve steps.
We’ll explore one step a week for twelve weeks. Your zoom facilitators will be Patrick Dahlen and Kathy Reardon. Patrick will address a new framework for looking at and understanding the twelve steps, especially by ordinary people who don’t consider themselves addicts in the traditional sense but want to examine their addictive tendencies. Kathy Reardon will guide participants in considering the implications for new forms of practice invited by the steps.
You can expect a safe space to explore and develop the spiritual practices of love, abundance, and non-violence to help transform ourselves and the world.
Registrations limited to 25 attendees.
Please register by Friday, 1/13/23. Registants will be sent the Zoom link soon after Friday.
The fee is $20 for the twelve-week series, which will benefit the work of Contemplative Outreach of Central Iowa.
